SOURCES

The research for this project comes from a variety of archival sources, personal papers, unarchived departmental records, public documents, published material, and video and audio recordings.  Most materials come from the University Archives within the UIowa Special Collections, which contains the Records of the Department of History (Vertical File) as well as manuscript collections of a number of faculty members from the department.  The State Historical Society of Iowa (SHSI) Research Centers and Collections, The UI Libraries Iowa Digital Library, and the The Daily Iowan Archives also provide important materials for this project.

CREDITS
