This website is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the study and teaching of History at the University of Iowa, which has a long and rich tradition dating back to 1855. This is a student-driven project, designed to give undergraduate and graduate History students experience in archival research and public history. The digital presentation of the History of History @UIowa is a work in progress, to be updated over time with ongoing research and analysis.
